About CLT Relocation Guide
CLT Relocation Guide (cltrelocationguide.com) is a free resource for people moving to the Charlotte, North Carolina area. It is published by Concierge Relocation and covers neighborhoods, schools, property and income taxes, cost of living, commutes and the practical steps of a move.
Who is behind it
Real estate guidance on this site comes from Mike Perlosky, REALTOR®, a licensed real estate broker in North Carolina (license #292411) with Ivester Jackson | Christie’s International Real Estate, 1515 Mockingbird Lane, Suite 900, Charlotte, NC 28209. Office 704.817.9826 · Direct 704.771.0130 · mikeperlosky@ivesterjackson.com.
How the information is put together
Figures such as tax rates, price levels, mortgage rates and school data come from public sources (county and city budgets, the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis, Freddie Mac, school data providers and others). Each source, and when we last checked it, is listed on our Methodology & Sources page. Some tools produce estimates, and those are labeled as estimates where they appear.
How this site is funded
The guides and tools are free to use. Mike Perlosky earns a real estate commission when he represents a buyer or seller, so the site exists partly to introduce him to people relocating to Charlotte. Our vendor directory can include businesses that pay for a listing. No money is involved in our partnership with Make A Move, our founding moving partner: we link to each other’s websites, and we don’t receive payment for recommending them. As stated on our Preferred Lender page, Concierge Relocation and Ivester Jackson | Christie’s International Real Estate receive no compensation for lender referrals.
